bringing brands
into the right places.

A brand can have
a great product.
Context matters.

Brand activation puts a product directly into the environments, communities, and moments where consumers are already spending their time.

Through brand activation work, I’ve represented consumer brands across live events, cultural spaces, product sampling, and other in-person experiences. Working directly within these environments gave me a firsthand view of how audience, setting, and brand presence intersect — and what makes an experience feel relevant enough for people to engage.

audience insight
from the ground up.

Working directly with customers gives me a perspective that doesn’t always show up in campaign reports. I can see which environments create natural conversations, how people respond to different brand touchpoints, and what make an interaction feel useful rather than interruptive.

Meet people
where they are.

The strongest brand experiences don’t always require people to seek them out. A baseball game, concert, festival, or neighborhood event already has an audience and an energy. The opportunity is making the brand feel like it belongs there.

different brands.
different moments.

My activation work has taken me into very different consumer environments — Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers games, Lollapalooza, and Salt Shed concerts featuring The Bleachers, Royel Otis, Liz Phair, and MUNA. Each one has offered a different lesson in how brands earn attention in the real world.

brands don’t just
need attention.
they need context.

Brand activation gave me a different way to understand marketing: not from behind the campaign, but from inside the moment where a consumer actually encounters the brand.

That perspective continues to shape how I think about audience, positioning, and where a brand has the opportunity to show up.
