Brief:
A clothing retailer’s competitiveness can be attributed to several factors like merchandise quality, exceptional customer service, and strategic pricing. With endless available options, customers need a streamlined shopping experience to stay invested in a brand. A visit to a brand’s e-commerce website is oftentimes the initial step in the sales funnel, so web design arguably plays a large role in converting leads. This project aimed to address website inconsistencies.
Strategy + Execution:
After soliciting customer feedback and analyzing increased merchandise return rates, I identified particular areas of the website that needed improvement. I made a list of information discrepancies and missing product details to be communicated with the business analyst team.
Results:
Resolving incorrectly posted store hours and updating product landing pages to include featured model sizing info, I improved the overall customer experience.
